Civil Aviation Participates in Bahrain Airshow 2022
An official delegation from the
Directorate General of Civil Aviation participated in the Bahrain International
Airshow 2022, which was held in the Kingdom of Bahrain from 9th to
11th November 2022. The delegation included the Deputy Director-General
for Planning and Projects Affairs - Eng./ Saad Mohammed Al-Otaibi, and the
Project Manager of the Consulting Services - Eng./ Nasser Adel Al-Mandeel.
On this occasion, the Deputy
Director-General for Planning and Projects Affairs - Eng./ Saad Mohammed
Al-Otaibi, said in a press statement that the visit to the airshow coincides
with the abundant efforts the country is witnessing to develop the air-transport
sector, including the modernization of the infrastructure, execution of development
projects at Kuwait International Airport, and allotting large investments in
order to raise the operation efficiency and improve the services rendered to the
travelers, especially with the rising rates of air-traffic in the country.
He stressed on focusing the efforts
towards continuing development of the aviation sector, which would achieve a
qualitative addition to the economic development in the country, as an
embodiment of the Vision (Kuwait 2035).
He added that the airshow included
the latest offerings by aircraft factories of all types, whether commercial and
military aircraft, businessmen, air- ambulances, and helicopters, in addition
to aviation-related equipment such as engines, navigation devices, and civil
and military airports’ supplies, in addition to workshops to observe the latest
technology in the world of aviation.
