Al-Homoud Al-Sabah said in a telegram of congratulation to His Highness:
“We raise to your exalted eminence and on behalf of all members of the Civil Aviation
family in the State of Kuwait, the highest verses of congratulation and blessings
on the occasion of your Highness, may God bless you, assuming the reins of the Emirate
in our beloved country Kuwait, imploring to God Almighty to grant your Highness
affluence and triumph in continuing the march of renaissance, progress and prosperity
in all domains for our country and our honorable people.”

Al-Homoud Al-Sabah added: “As we pledge to you - Your Highness - to
continue the hard and diligent work in serving our country towards more
accomplishments, giving and sacrifice in order for the flag of Kuwait to remain
hovering among the other nations, we affirm - Your Highness - to stay on the
pledge to offer whatever is treasured and precious to elevate the reputation of
State of Kuwait in international circles in all domains, as it used to be a light
for progress and a beacon for success, with God’s willing.

late leader, who is a loss for the Arab and Islamic nation, His Highness Sheikh/
Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah - may God rest his soul - who laid the
foundation for the principles of nationalistic sacrifice and giving for years, and
who was a wise and humanitarian leader world-wide, as His Highness, may God rest
his soul, chronicled prominent, luminous and rare landmarks in reinforcing humanitarian
principles, rejecting differences and advocating peaceful coexistence between
nations, imploring to God Almighty to grant the great deceased the breadth of
his mercy and dwell him in his spacious heavens, and grant us all patience and consolation.
